Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the garage and equipment in a clean and good condition;
• Check the condition and wear of tires;
• Remove wheels from the vehicle;
• Remove tires from the rim using pneumatic equipment;
• Replace tires and mount them on the rim;
• Perform wheel balancing;
• Install wheels on the vehicle;
• Label and organize tires for storage;
• Repair punctures as needed;
• Visually inspect the vehicle according to the inspection checklist;
• Perform quality control on the adjustments made to the vehicle;
• Inform the service advisor of completed work and any observations about the vehicle’s condition;
• Receive and organize inventory.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Experience in the automotive field and tire knowledge are assets;
• Ability to lift and handle heavy loads;
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Commitment to safe working practices;
• Ability to combine physical effort, speed, and quality of execution;
• Punctual and diligent;
• Ability to travel to work.

Working Conditions:

• Permanent position;
• Regular schedule: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.;
• Possibility of evenings and weekends during tire installation seasons;
• Salary based on experience, starting at $21/hour;
• Overtime pay after 40 hours;
